The gap

You Deserve Better Than a 50-Question Glimpse

Most candidates sit for the most important exam of their career with practice material that barely scratches the surface. Here’s the math on NAB’s own offering:

50

Questions

One short practice run that covers a fraction of the blueprint — and never shows you what you got wrong or why.

1

Attempt

A single pass, then it’s over. No retake, no reinforcement, no drilling your weak domains until they’re strong.

Answers Provided

NAB’s practice exam gives you no answer key. You can’t study what you were never allowed to see.

What’s Inside

Every piece of AIT Academy is mapped to the 2026 NAB exam blueprint — built for the way the exams are actually written, not the way textbooks wish they were.

What does QAPI stand for?
Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement — the data-driven, systematic approach combining compliance monitoring with proactive process improvement.
Which F-tag covers infection prevention and control?
F880 — includes hand hygiene, PPE use, isolation precautions, and the facility's infection surveillance program.
What is PDPM?
Patient Driven Payment Model — Medicare's case-mix system that sets SNF reimbursement based on resident characteristics, not therapy minutes.
Federal law requires RN coverage for how many hours per day?
8 hours a day, 7 days a week — not around the clock. One of the most commonly missed numbers on the exam.
What is the ARD window for the 5-day PPS assessment?
Days 1–8 of the Medicare stay. The assessment reference date locks in the PDPM classification for the entire stay.
How quickly must alleged abuse be reported to the state survey agency?
Within 2 hours if the allegation involves abuse or serious bodily injury; within 24 hours for all other allegations. (F607)

Your instructor

Built by Someone Who’s Run the Buildings

Generic prep companies sell you a stack of flashcards. AIT Academy is built by an administrator with years of experience leading skilled nursing facilities — clinical operations, survey readiness, staffing, census development, and financial performance — who remembers exactly what walking into the NAB exam unprepared felt like.

Josiah Marx built this program the way he runs an AIT: with a real blueprint, real accountability, and no shortcuts. Every study module, practice question, and coaching session connects the exam domains to what you’ll actually face as a licensed administrator — because the exam is only the first door your career walks through.

If you’re going to trust someone with your exam prep, trust the person who’s lived the job you’re preparing for.

Questions

FAQ

Is this affiliated with NAB?

No. AIT Academy is an independent educational program and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB). Our materials are original study resources aligned to NAB’s published exam blueprint.

Does it cover my state?

Yes — the program covers all 50 states. The 50-state licensure requirements reference lays out each state’s required exams, AIT hours, and education requirements, and the state exam supplements give you a focused law digest plus 25 practice questions for every state that requires a state exam — 29 states in total. States without a separate state exam are clearly marked in your library. Because state rules change, you should always verify current requirements directly with your state licensure board.

How long do I get access?

You get 12 months of full access from the day you enroll — plenty of runway to complete your AIT hours, study the full curriculum, and sit for the exam. Pro tip: start the hour tracker on day one.

What if I fail the exam?

If you complete the program and don’t pass, you’re not on your own: you get a free 90-day access extension plus a one-on-one study-plan review built around your score profile, so you walk back in sharper. No prep program can guarantee passage — but preparation, data, and coaching are exactly how you improve your odds.

What’s the refund policy?

We offer a 7-day conditional refund: if the program isn’t right for you within the first 7 days of enrollment, you may request a refund, provided you haven’t substantially completed the downloadable materials. See the full program terms for eligibility details.

Do you offer group or corporate plans?

Yes. Operators, chains, and state associations can license cohort seats for AIT pipelines. Cohort licensing starts at $12,000, quoted by group size and support level — request a proposal.
